Any questions about delivery issues should be directed to USPS or UPS!

I just ordered. Where is my order? When is it going to ship? How do I track my package?
Our current processing time is 4-7 business days (weather permitting). In addition to this processing time, there is also the transit/shipping time, which can be an additional week. You will receive an email confirmation on the day your package is shipped. All orders will receive a tracking number that can be used to track your package. Once the postal service (USPS, UPS, DHL) picks up your package, it is out of our control. If your order has not arrived, please contact your local post office. They will be the only ones who would be able to provide the most accurate updates on your package. There will be absolutely no refunds or exchanges or store credit for packages damaged or lost due to postal services. Emails with such demands will not be answered. Customers who do not respect our conditions will be blacklisted and exposed at our own discretion.

What is included in my package?

All packages come with the items that you’ve purchased, slime activator spray, a slime care + instruction card, and some extras. PLEASE READ YOUR CARE CARD BEFORE PLAYING WITH SLIME!

 

When will my order ship? 

We currently post our processing times at the top of our website. You will receive an email with your tracking number when we create your shipping label. Most packages take between 2-7 business days to arrive once package is in USPS/shipping facilities possession, excluding Weather, Holiday shipping times and International shipping. Thanks for your patience! 

Cancellations: Cancellations can only be made within the first 30 minutes after initial purchase. If you request a cancellation after the first 30 minutes of the purchase, you will receive a store credit with a restocking fee of 35% applied. Cancellations / refunds will not be accepted once an order has been shipped.

 

 IMPORTANT! INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:
Please be advised that payment for any customs fees, taxes, duties are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Charges vary by country and are out of our control. Please do not purchase if you do not agree to the potential extra charges. NO REFUNDS will be given regarding this matter.

 

Important information about our jar sizing & amount of slime you receive!

Our slimes are sized by volume. The standard capacity of our jars is 8oz (bottom ring on the jar, not filled to the brim). The full capacity of our jars is 11.2oz filled to the brim of the jar! Most of our slimes will be filled to the brim unless requested not to be.

Are slimes edible?

Slimes are not edible and are for playing purposes only. Never consume slime or any items included with the slime (charms, glitters, add-ons, etc.). It will cause a choking hazard and presumably make you ill.

 

What age is slime good for?

I recommend adult supervision for children under 6 years of age. Please also understand that slime is temperature sensitive and can stick to carpet, furniture, clothing, pets, etc.! For younger people, consider a clay slime (butter or slay), cloud or cloud creme slime or jelly slime—they’re a bit easier to handle/take care of. 

 What ingredients do you use to make your slime?
The main ingredient we use in our slimes is PVA glue. Our slimes may also contain borax powder, vegetable glycerin, liquid watercolor, air-dry clay, glitter, skin-safe pigment powder, skin-safe fragrance oils, sodium polyacrylate polymer, styrofoam, lotion, food-coloring, contact solution. If you are sensitive or allergic to any of the aforementioned products, please refrain from using our slimes. STOP immediately if you experience any irritation. We, at LeightonSlimes, are not responsible for any allergic reactions, etc. that customer's may potentially face while using our products.

How long should slimes last?

With proper care, slimes can last for a few months. However, slimes are normal to deflate or melt over time due to the nature of slime ingredients. All slimes expire over time, and it is unavoidable.

To keep your slime in a good state for as long as possible, make sure to wash your hands before playing and play on a clean surface to avoid debris or bacteria from getting into your slime. After playing, store your slime in an airtight container and a cool environment. Reactivate your slime frequently using a slime activator to avoid your slime from melting. If the slime has been in the deflated state for a long time, it may be time for a new slime!

*Sticky/melted/stiff slime is NOT a reason to throw the slime away. It does not mean the product is defective unless it is months old and has been played with a ton! This can be very easily fixed. First, make sure your hands are washed with soap and water, fully dried, before touching slime. 

DO NOT ADD BORAX POWDER DIRECTLY TO SLIME! MIX WITH 1 CUP HOT WATER UNTIL DISSOLVED. LET COOL AND ADD SOLUTION TO HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING YOUR SLIME! TOO MUCH WILL HARDEN SLIME AND MAKE BEADS FALL OUT!

• Add-ins like packing peanuts, floam beads, marshmallow beads, jelly cubes, etc. will crush/shrink over time.

• Color on the photo(s) and the slime you receive might be slightly different due to the lighting or batches of slime.

• Certain slimes containing wood glue might not be super stretchy at first due to its nature. Warming it up with your hands for a few minutes will solve the issue straight away! :)

1.  All slimes will vary in stickiness and stretchability depending on your climate, moisture and oil content of your skin, and the climate in which the slime has been shipped from and shipped to. 


2. If you want to maintain the cleanliness and lifespan of your slime, please wash your hands before and after playing with each slime. 


3. DO NOT EAT SLIME. Our slimes are geared towards adults. We strongly suggest adult supervision if our slime is played with by a child. 


4. Slime will dry or melt overtime. Please reach out to us at SlimesByLeighton@gmail.com for further instructions if you need help reviving your slime.


5. If you are a minor, you MUST have a legal guardian's permission to purchase. Leighton Slimes is NOT responsible for unauthorized purchases. All sales are final.

 

6. Colors/sounds of slime in photos/videos may differ in real life. That all depends on your playing style and experience with slimes!


7. Slimes may mix during transit.


8. Scent is subjective. Please note that you may or may not enjoy the scent of each slime.

 

9. We do NOT accept returns or exchanges. (we start making your order up as soon as possible after receiving to minimize shipping times).
